From December 1 to 7, the national passenger car market retail sales reached 297,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 32%. Retail sales of new energy vehicles were 185,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 17%. The reasons for the decline include the tapering of the vehicle purchase tax exemption policy and uncertainty regarding national subsidies. The purchase tax for new energy vehicles will be adjusted in 2026, leading to a strong wait-and-see sentiment in the market. Data shows that electric vehicles are the main driving force, with pure electric vehicles accounting for 21% of the market share in the European Union, 26% in the UK, and as high as 98% in Norway. The registration of electric vehicles has seen significant growth in major markets such as Germany, Italy, and Spain. Europe's November car sales increased for five consecutive months, Tesla sales fell by 11%, and BYD surged over 220%

BYD's new vehicle registrations in Europe surged 221.8% in November to 21,133 units, while Tesla's registrations fell 11.8% to 22,801 units. From January to November, BYD's registrations totaled 159,869 units, a 276.0% increase, whereas Tesla's registrations were 203,382 units, a 28.0% decrease. The data includes the EU, EFTA, and UK regions. BYD also launched the Yuan Up DM-i hybrid SUV in Europe, rebranded as Atto 2 DM-i.

- BYD registered 21,133 new vehicles in Europe in November, reflecting a 221.8 percent increase from the previous year, while Tesla's registrations declined by 11.8 percent to 22,801 units.
