The 880-km all-wheel-drive LiDAR Flagship variant is priced at 299,900 yuan, making it the current top-of-the-line Da Han EV.
The model is a Dynasty 9-series flagship large sedan, positioned above the existing Han, and joins the previously launched Da Tang SUV to form BYD's flagship product lineup.
The Da Han EV measures 5,256 mm in length, 1,999 mm in width and 1,510 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,130 mm and a drag coefficient of 0.197.
The rear-wheel-drive version is powered by a single motor with a peak output of 370 kW. The all-wheel-drive version adds a 200-kW front motor, bringing combined peak output from the dual motors to 570 kW (764 hp).
The all-wheel-drive version can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 270 km/h. It accelerates from 100 to 150 km/h in 3.2 seconds.
The variant has a braking distance of 32.83 meters from 100 km/h. The Da Han EV also features rear-wheel steering, giving it a minimum turning radius of 4.95 meters.
BYD said the Da Han EV has 15 features standard across the lineup, including DiSus-A dual-chamber air suspension, ultra-fast flash charging technology, rear-wheel steering and dual zero-gravity front seats.
All variants also come with the LiDAR version of the God's Eye B driver-assistance system, as well as smart dimming privacy glass and a 31-speaker Devialet audio system.
Previous regulatory filings showed that the Da Han EV can be equipped with a battery pack of up to 102.326 kWh. The rear-wheel-drive version has a CLTC range of up to 1,008 km, while the all-wheel-drive version offers up to 880 km.
The Da Han will also offer a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) version powered by a 1.5T engine and a drive motor with a peak output of 200 kW, though pre-sales for that version have yet to begin.
The Da Han is BYD's latest model aimed at pushing further into the premium market. This year, the company has built out its D-segment flagship lineup under the Dynasty lineup with the Da Tang SUV and Da Han sedan.
