On February 5th, Mianbi Intelligent officially announced that its first AI hardware Pinea Pi—an AI Native edge intelligent development board—will be launched this year, helping developers quickly develop edge intelligent hardware, even without a technical background.

Mianbi Intelligent introduced that "Pinea Pi" is inspired by "The Three-Body Problem," with pine cone scales resembling the Fibonacci sequence, akin to the metaphor of "two-dimensional foil" for "dimensions that can be folded and unfolded," symbolizing higher dimensions and more comprehensive capabilities.

Pinea Pi will support offline multimodal personal knowledge assistants, embodied intelligence, programming teaching tools, and other scenarios for full-stack development, with Mianbi Intelligent's multimodal large model MiniCPM-V and fully modal large model MiniCPM-o ready to use out of the box.

Pinea Pi is built on the NVIDIA Jetson series modules, featuring built-in microphones, cameras, and a variety of interfaces, making it convenient for developers to develop and call.

Pinea Pi has constructed a software-hardware integrated, full-stack covered edge AI software system.

Optimizations at the system encapsulation level allow developers to focus on creation;

The local inference engine provides a smooth large model response experience;

IT Home learned from Mianbi Intelligent's official Q&A that Pinea Pi is expected to officially enter mass production and be launched around mid-year, with pricing yet to be announced.
