STOCKS | China’s Shanghai Composite Edges Higher as Shenzhen, CSI 300, ChiNext, and Star 50 Fall
China's Shanghai Composite Index closed up 2.67 points, or 0.07%, at 3,867.03 on Wednesday, July 22. According to Jin10, China's Shenzhen Component Index closed down 202.85 points, or 1.42%, at 14,061.44; the CSI 300 fell 21.98 points, or 0.46%, to 4,717.24; the ChiNext Index declined 119.24 points, or 3.23%, to 3,566.73; and the Star 50 Index lost 43.08 points, or 2.26%, to 1,860.08.
