China Merchants Bank announced that, based on precious metals risk management and business needs, the bank has made the following adjustments to its agency personal precious metals business of the Shanghai Gold Exchange (i.e., the "Zhao Cai Jin" business):

1. The bank will suspend the "Zhao Cai Jin" business at a selected time after July 27, 2026, and close trading permissions for the agency personal precious metals business of the Shanghai Gold Exchange via channels such as mobile banking, online banking, and bank branches. After the closure, operation permissions for customers with open positions, including closing positions, selling, and withdrawal, will be restricted.
