The short selling amount in the Hong Kong stock market reached HKD 12.86 billion in the first half of the day, accounting for 15.8% of the total turnover of shortable stocks, a decrease from 17.3% the previous day. Alibaba, Tracker Fund of Hong Kong, HSCEI ETF, China Merchants Bank, and Ping An were the main short-selling stocks, with short-selling ratios of 21.8%, 19.4%, 20.4%, 67.2%, and 42.8%, respectively
