JD LOGISTICS (02618.HK) announced that its subsidiary JD Airlines has opened three all-cargo flight routes in Hainan, namely the regular cargo flight route from Qionghai to Bangkok, the regular cargo flight route from Bangkok to Haikou International, and the regular domestic cargo flight route from Haikou to Shenzhen. This marks the official opening of the first international cargo flight route at Qionghai Boao International Airport and signifies that Haikou Meilan International Airport and Qionghai Boao International Airport, two major transport airports in Hainan Island, will achieve efficient linkage in the international air cargo network for the first time.

It is reported that all three routes will be operated by B737-800 all-cargo aircraft, with a maximum payload of 22 tons per trip, and are planned to operate 5 flights per week. Among them, the Qionghai to Bangkok route mainly carries spare parts, e-commerce packages, and other goods to meet the demand for various industrial and consumer products in the Southeast Asian market; the Bangkok to Haikou route focuses on transporting tropical fruits from Thailand, such as durians and pomelos; while the Haikou to Shenzhen route primarily carries tropical fruits and local agricultural products from Hainan.

Since the beginning of the year, JD Airlines has opened multiple international cargo flight routes, including Wuhan to Bangkok, Zhuhai to Clark, and Chongqing to Dhaka, continuously improving its cargo network covering Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and South Asia
