Euro stablecoin project adds 25 new banks

Societe Generale announced plans on May 13 to deploy SG-FORGE's EUR CoinVertible and USD CoinVertible on the Canton Network for collateral, repo financing, and digital settlement. According to NS3.AI, the bank intends to accept certain tokenized assets as eligible collateral and act as a repo counterparty. Additionally, Societe Generale aims to join Canton as an Ecosystem Super Validator. SG-FORGE noted that the tokens are restricted to offshore transactions with permitted transferees.
