BUZZ-Silver miners rise on weaker dollar, rate-cut hopes
Shares of U.S.-listed silver miners rose premarket as silver prices increased by 1.9% to $58.19/ounce, driven by strong ETF inflows, rate-cut expectations, and a weaker dollar. Silver has surged 101% this year due to supply deficits and its addition to the U.S. critical minerals list. Hecla Mining rose 1.7%, Coeur Mining 2%, Endeavour Silver 2.5%, and Silvercorp Metals 1.5%. ETFs like Abrdn Physical Silver Shares and iShares Silver Trust also increased by 1.8%.
