Google Redesigns Chrome's Reading Mode On Android
Google has begun rolling out a redesigned Reading mode for Chrome on Android, enhancing the user experience with a modern look for reading articles. The update addresses previous inconsistencies and introduces a consistent 'Show Reading mode' option in the three-dot menu. The new design retains the Omnibox and features a revamped bottom sheet with Material 3 design. Users can customize fonts, text size, and background themes, with settings carrying over across pages. Currently, this update is available on select Android devices running Chrome version 143, but is not yet widely accessible.
