
Nvidia’s main chip testing partner, KYEC, raised its 2026 capex for a 2nd time this year, to NT$50 billion from NT$39.37B (US$1.57B from $1.24B) previously, media report, due to strong demand for GPU and custom AI ASIC chip testing. The upward revision marks KYEC's 3rd straight year of record capex spending, as it seeks to expand capacity 30%-50%.
