Singapore's June Manufacturing PMI hit 51.3, the highest since November 2018 and the 11th straight month of expansion, driven by new orders, exports, factory output, and employment. The Straits Times Index (STI) is holding firm around 5,200-5,230, and this PMI number is the cleanest confirmation yet that Singapore's AI-manufacturing cycle has real breadth.
This feels like the first victory since Prime Minister Huang announced earlier this year that Singapore would vigorously develop AI.
