$Netflix(NFLX.US) Netflix dropped by 10% following mixed Q2 financial results, reporting earnings per share of $0.80, surpassing the $0.79 forecast, but missing revenue expectations at $12.56 billion. The company lowered its 2026 revenue guidance to between $51 billion and $51.4 billion, from previous estimates, while anticipating a 12% revenue growth for Q3. Netflix plans to reduce reporting of its engagement metrics, now offering viewership data once annually starting in 2027, while still aiming to double advertising revenue to $3 billion this year. The earnings call highlights potential to reel in more subscribers while expanding its ad revenue throughout the rest of the year heading into 2027. I do think the drop is an overreaction fuelled by overly inflated expectations. @Captain's Treasure
