AMD reported Q2 2026 revenue of $11.54bn, up 50% year-over-year, driven primarily by a doubling in Data Center revenue and sustained gains in Client CPUs. Despite strong server CPU momentum and major customer collaborations for upcoming MI455X rack-scale shipments, the market remains cautious because management's guidance and full-year outlook did not exceed consensus expectations. AMD will need to prove more if they want to justify its higher premium compared to peers in the same industry as traders sold off.
