$Microsoft(MSFT.US)My First US Stock Investment Lesson 📈

I started investing in US stocks in June, and Microsoft was actually the first US stock I purchased. I’m happy that I managed to sell it at a good price and earned around SGD 120 per share, even though I didn’t hold the shares for more than two months.

But my biggest takeaway from this experience is that investing is not always about making quick profits. If I want to become a true long-term investor, I need to learn how to be patient and give my investments enough time to grow. Sometimes, the market may go up and down, and short-term movements can easily affect our emotions.

This experience reminded me that good investments need time, patience and discipline. I’m still learning and building my investment journey step by step. Hopefully, I can become a more patient and disciplined investor in the future! 😊📊
