The 30 year Treasury Bill yield just hit 5.31%, highest since 2007, and this was a major warning sign for most stocks. Even the reliable and relatively stable STI fell back by 1.2% yesterday and is still pulling back today. This however, could be great as our local banks have run up so much in the past 3 months, with expectations that these bank shares could rise even more once the smaller board lot starts in October.
