International oil prices fell to around $81/bbl (WTI), with Brent crude below $89, as Iran and Oman discussed establishing a temporary joint corridor to reopen the Strait of Hormuz's safe passage.
This price level is gradually returning to rationality; only when crude prices normalize can some extraneous noise be filtered out.
