This is the single most important week of Q1 earnings — and probably the week that reprices the AI trade for the rest of 2026.Here‘s what’s actually at stake: 🗓️ Wednesday, April 29 — After US Close (Thu ~04:00–06:00 SGT) $Microsoft(MSFT.US) — Microsoft The most important number isn‘t EPS — it’s Azure growth (consensus ~38%) and the AI revenue contribution (~21%). Microsoft is on track to spend close to $146B on AI/cloud capex in FY26. The market wants proof that Copilot + Azure AI demand is keeping pace with that bill. Consensus EPS ~$4.04 on ~$81.4B revenue. Anything below 35% Azure and the ” show me the monetization“ narrative gets ugly fast. $Alphabet(GOOGL.US) $Alphabet - C(GOOG.US) — Alphabet Consensus: ~$2.64 EPS on ~$92.2B revenue (+20.6% YoY). Google Cloud was the breakout story last quarter — 47.8% growth, $70B run-rate, $243B backlog. The bull case: Search is holding up against AI competition and Cloud is finally a real profit engine. The bear case: TAC creep, capex bloat, and another quarter where AI Overviews ” haven‘t hurt clicks yet.“ $Meta Platforms(META.US) — Meta Capex plan: $135B for 2026.
