On a day the chip complex got torched and SpaceX stole every headline, Tesla did something unusual: almost nothing. It chopped in a tight range between roughly 400 and 412 and closed near flat. After the week we just had, quiet is a feature, not a bug.
Why the calm matters
When the high multiple growth crowd gets sold off into a Fed meeting, the names that hold flat are quietly showing relative strength. Tesla is not immune to risk off, but it did not lead the selling today either.
What actually moves it next
Not a flat tuesday. The real catalysts are the next delivery numbers and any concrete robotaxi progress. Everything between now and then is noise.
How I am positioned
Core hold, no changes. I stopped trading the daily candles on Tesla a long time ago because the monthly and quarterly story is what pays. Today gave me nothing to do, and that is fine.
