PDD 2Q26 First Take: On a low bar, the print looks decent. Overall profit was slightly above the Street, but YoY growth was under 5% and still slowing.
Total revenue rose about 8% YoY, a touch below expectations. However, ad revenue, the more critical line, edged past estimates and its growth appears to have bottomed and is recovering.
The revenue miss was likely driven by Temu. Given the recent stream of regulatory headlines around Temu, this is not surprising.
Overall, with both the stock and expectations depressed, the print beat some top-tier houses' bearish calls. Ad revenue also accelerated against the tape, which should offer some support to the stock.$PDD(PDD.US)$GraniteShares 2x Long PDD Daily ETF(PDDL.US)$PDD 2X Long ETF(KPDD.US)
