🍷Wine in hand, loud music swirling, dancers moving, Ce La Vi alive - suddenly the rehearsal of the national flag soared past, blending patriotism with rhythm, elegance, and early celebration was my most vivid memory for Happy National Day, Go Beyond and Go higher everyone, take time to chill UP🍷💃🎼🚁🇸🇬 Majulah Singapura A place we can call Home!❤️

Singapore turns 61 this year.Maybe you've felt it too. SG60 was loud; this year is quieter. The radio was on all morning and not one NDP song came through. And there's always someone saying you stop c...

One of my favourite NDP memories is always the excitement of watching the state flag flypast and those amazing freefall jumps. The roar of the aircraft, the parachutists coming down with such precision, and the crowd gasping and cheering together it’s one of those moments that really makes you feel proud to be part of the celebration.

one memory i have of course started in primary school - those school gifts that said ‘national day 1994’. could be a pouch, a plastic folder, a toothbrush/toothpaste cup or a soft pencil case hahaha. every year we’d have something from the school. don’t see that nowadays. in the past, lyrics to national day songs were a breeze to memorise too!

Watching the NDP and fireworks near Merlion with many people was an experience and afterward need to fight wave of people to go home by MRT. What an experience!

My earliest National Day memory was watching the parade on TV with my family. I remember getting excited whenever the fighter jets flew past and singing along to the National Day songs. 🇸🇬

When I was young, one of my earliest National Day memories was decorating my bicycle with two small Singapore flags—one tied to the front and another at the back. I would happily ride around the neighbourhood feeling incredibly proud, as if I was part of the National Day Parade myself. 😄

I still remember how the flags fluttered in the wind as I cycled. It was such a simple thing, but back then it made National Day feel so special. I didn't think much about what it meant at the time—I just knew I loved seeing the red and white everywhere and wanted to show my excitement too.

Looking back now, it's funny how those small moments stay with us more than the fireworks or performances. Every time National Day comes around, that childhood memory of riding my bicycle with those little flags still brings a smile to my face. Happy National Day, Singapore! 🇸🇬
