$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)Context: NVIDIA has been performing well and the recent momentum has pushed my position nicely into profit.

My trade: I am still holding my NVIDIA position, currently up 10.16% with an average cost of 208.582. I’m happy with the gain so far and still bullish on NVIDIA, so I plan to continue holding rather than taking profit too early.

My trade: I am still holding my Tencent 5xLong position, currently down 31.11%. I haven’t added more yet as I want to see whether Tencent can stabilize and recover before deciding my next move.

Context: Singtel has been holding up quite well, so I decided to take a leveraged position and see if the momentum could continue.

My trade: I entered Singtel 5xLong at 0.310 and continued holding. It is now at 0.340, giving me around 9.67% profit. Happy with the gain so far and I will continue to watch how Singtel moves.

Takeaway: Sometimes being patient with a good entry works better than chasing after the price.

Context: Tencent has been a painful one for me. My 5x Long position went quite deep into red before, and I DCA several times to bring my average down. It has recovered from the recent low, but I’m still at -13.33% with market price 0.039 vs my average 0.045.

My trade: I’m still holding because I think Tencent has room to recover, but with 5x leverage the movement is really unforgiving. Even when the underlying rebounds, recovering the DLC loss is not always as fast as I expected.

Takeaway: DCA on a leveraged product needs much more patience and risk control. Next time I would probably enter smaller first instead of averaging down too aggressively. @Captain's Treasure

$SpaceX(SPCX.US)SpaceX is one of those positions where I’m looking more at the long-term story than the daily price movement.

For me, the biggest value driver is still Starlink. It gives SpaceX recurring revenue instead of relying only on rocket launches, and the potential growth from more global users, aviation, maritime and direct-to-cell could make that business even more important over time.

The launch side is also something I like. Reusable rockets give SpaceX a cost advantage, while Starship could potentially open another level of scale if execution continues to improve.

That said, this is definitely not a low-risk story. Expectations and valuation are already high, while delays, regulatory issues or unsuccessful launches can quickly affect sentiment. Since this is also not a normal mature listed company, I would be more careful with position sizing and liquidity.

At around 134 now, I’m not trying to predict the short-term bottom. I’d rather watch how the business continues executing and whether the bigger growth story remains intact.

For now, still interested and willing to be patient. SpaceX is not just about rockets anymore — Starlink and the wider space ecosystem are what make the long-term thesis interesting to me. @Captain's Treasure

For me the bigger story remains AI infrastructure spending. Nvidia is not only selling GPUs anymore — CUDA, networking and the broader ecosystem make it much harder to view this simply as another semiconductor cycle. As long as hyperscalers continue committing serious capex to AI, demand should remain well supported.

The risk now is more about expectations. NVDA already carries a lot of optimism, so even good results may not be enough if guidance doesn’t beat what the market has priced in. That’s why I’m expecting corrections along the way rather than a straight move higher.

At 219.15 versus my 208.58 cost, I’m comfortable holding and not chasing. I’d rather watch the next earnings/guidance and AI capex trend before deciding whether to add more.

$Singtel 5xLongSG280307(XNEW.SG)Singtel is red today, but my position is still slightly above cost. Not really concerned about one red session as long as the broader thesis remains intact.

I still like Singtel for the combination of a relatively defensive core telco business, recurring cash flow and its exposure to regional growth. The associates and digital infrastructure/data centre side also give it more growth potential beyond the traditional Singapore telco business.

Short term, today’s weakness is something I’m watching. Since this is a 5x DLC, even a normal pullback in Singtel gets amplified, so I don’t want to add aggressively just because the price is lower.

Still holding for now. Today is red, but the position remains above my cost. Let’s see whether this is just a normal pullback or the start of a bigger correction. @Captain's Treasure

$UOB 5xLongSG261217(W9AW.SG)UOB still holding up well. I’m keeping this position because the underlying thesis hasn’t really changed for me.

Singapore banks remain fundamentally strong, supported by solid balance sheets, healthy capital levels and recurring fee/dividend income. Even if lower rates eventually put some pressure on NIM, I don’t think that automatically means the banking story is over. Loan growth, wealth management and fee income can help offset part of that normalization.

For UOB specifically, I also like the longer-term ASEAN exposure. Regional growth gives the bank another avenue beyond just the Singapore market.

With this being a 5x DLC though, I’m watching momentum closely. Good underlying company doesn’t remove the leverage risk, especially when holding for multiple days.

Still comfortable with this trade for now. Not chasing higher, just letting the position work and protecting the gain if momentum starts to change. @Captain's Treasure

$Tencent 5xLongSG270930(PSJW.SG)Tencent still testing my patience 😅 Definitely not the easiest trade, but also a good reminder of how aggressive 5x DLC can be when the underlying keeps moving against you.

I’ve managed to bring my average down to 0.045, while market is now around 0.034. At this stage I’m not going to blindly chase every dip. With 5x leverage, timing matters a lot more because daily reset and compounding can work against the position if weakness continues.

That said, I’m still not giving up on the underlying thesis. Tencent remains a strong business across gaming, advertising, fintech and cloud, and I still see AI monetisation as another potential growth driver. The question for this trade is more about when sentiment turns, not just whether Tencent is a good company.

For now I’ll be patient and watch the underlying Tencent price closely before deciding whether to add again. This DLC has taught me one thing for sure: conviction is important, but with leverage, position sizing and patience are even more important. 😅

$SpaceX(SPCX.US)New position in SpaceX. I’m treating this more as a long-term growth exposure rather than a short term trade.

The main thesis for me is still Starlink. The recurring subscription model, growing global coverage and potential expansion into direct-to-cell give SpaceX something beyond just the launch business. At the same time, launch frequency and reusable rockets continue to strengthen their cost advantage.

Valuation is definitely not cheap and expectations are already high, so I’m not expecting a straight line up from here. I’ll keep the position controlled and see how the market prices the next stage of growth.

For now, starting small at around 141.74 and watching how it develops. @Captain's Treasure

$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)Nice to see NVDA continuing to recover after the recent correction. For me, the bigger picture still looks constructive.

AI infrastructure spending remains very strong, with hyperscalers continuing to commit huge capex to compute. At the same time, Nvidia is moving from Blackwell toward Vera Rubin, so the growth story is not dependent on just one generation of GPUs. Recent market optimism around Rubin demand also supports the idea that AI compute demand is still far from slowing down. (MarketWatch⁠)

For now I’m comfortable holding. The short-term price can move either way, but as long as AI capex remains strong and Nvidia keeps its technology lead, I still like the medium-to-long term setup.

$UOB 5xLongSG261217(W9AW.SG)UOB still doing its job for me. The position has pulled back from the higher levels, but I’m still comfortable holding because the underlying business continues to deliver.

Latest Q2 results were actually quite encouraging. Net profit grew 10% YoY to S$1.5b despite the lower-rate environment. The interesting part for me is where that growth is coming from. Net interest income is under some pressure as margins compress, but wealth management continues to perform strongly and reached a record half-year level. This diversification matters because UOB doesn’t need to depend entirely on lending margins for earnings growth.

ASEAN exposure is another reason I still like the story. UOB has spent years building its regional franchise, and I think that gives the bank a longer runway beyond Singapore alone. If regional trade, wealth and cross-border flows continue growing, there are several ways for earnings to expand even when interest rates are less favourable. So for me, this is still a hold and let the thesis work situation. The position may move around because 5x leverage exaggerates every pullback, but underneath that volatility I still see a profitable bank, strong wealth momentum, regional growth and healthy capital returns.
