The Danish stock index rose by more than 3.7%, with Novo Nordisk rebounding by about 5.7%, leading the constituent stocks

The Denmark OMX Copenhagen 20 Index closed up 3.74%, with constituent stock Novo Nordisk rebounding 5.67%, Vestas Wind Technology rising 4.53%, and A.P. Moller - Maersk Class A and Class B shares increasing by 3.62% and 3.40% respectively, marking at least the fourth largest gains. Ørsted rose 0.63%, showing a weaker performance, while Demant closed down 0.61%, ranking second to last, and Zealand Pharma fell 1.10%; the Copenhagen 25 Index closed up 1.64%.

The Germany DAX 30 Index closed down 0.18%, at 19,848.77 points.

The France CAC 40 Index closed down 0.03%, at 7,272.32 points
