Yes! Longbridge offers lifetime $0 commission^ for all HK, US and SG stocks. You only pay a competitive platform fee (HKD 15/order) and prevailing third-party fees. 2. Is my money safe with Longbridge?

Absolutely. Longbridge is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and holds a Capital Markets Services (CMS) license. 4. Where are my HKEX shares held? (CDP vs. Custodian)

Since the CDP (Central Depository) only handles Singapore-listed stocks, all international shares (including Hong Kong) are held via a Custodian model. Longbridge holds these shares on your behalf with world-class sub-custodians. You remain the beneficial owner, meaning you are fully entitled to all dividends and corporate actions.

5. How do I receive my HKD dividends?

When your Hong Kong stocks pay dividends, the cash is automatically converted (if you choose) and credited directly to your Longbridge account in HKD or SGD. You'll receive an instant notification the moment the funds arrive. You can then withdraw the cash to your Singapore bank account or immediately reinvest it to grow your global portfolio through the power of compounding.

6. How does LongbridgeAI help me navigate the Hong Kong market?

The Hong Kong market moves fast, and LongbridgeAI acts as your 24/7 analyst to keep you ahead. It instantly translates and summarizes complex Chinese-language financial reports and news, explaining the "why" behind sudden price movements in real-time. Use the "Supply Chain Mapping" to see how global trends—like US interest rates or China's domestic policy—impact your HKEX holdings, giving you institutional-grade insights to trade the Hong Kong market with total confidence.

7. Is there a standard board lot size?

Unlike other markets, HKEX does not have a standard board lot size. The board lot size of each listed security is determined by its issuer and may vary from security to security.

You can check a security's board lot size on its quote page before placing an order.

Odd lots (less than one board lot) cannot be traded through the regular auto-matching market and must be traded via the special lot / odd lot market.

8. What is the minimum price movement (tick size)?

The minimum price movement (tick size) of securities listed on HKEX depends on their nominal price.

Above HKD 0.25 – 0.50HKD 0.01

9. Does Longbridge support Enhanced Limit Orders (ELO)?

Longbridge supports Enhanced Limit Orders (ELO) for HK stocks.

An Enhanced Limit Order allows your order to be matched against multiple price queues in the HKEX order book. Compared with a standard limit order, an ELO can match up to 10 price queues (from the best price queue to the 10th queue, i.e. 9 spreads away), as long as the executed price is no worse than your limit price.

The permitted order price range depends on the security's tick size and prevailing market conditions.

Order TypePrice Limit
Buy orderUp to 9 spreads above the current best ask price
Sell orderUp to 9 spreads below the current best bid price

For orders placed through Longbridge, you can submit Enhanced Limit Orders priced beyond HKEX's immediate matching range. If the order price is more than 20 spreads away from the current market price, the order will not be sent to HKEX immediately and will be held within Longbridge's system.

Longbridge continuously monitors market movements. Once the market price moves to within 20 spreads of your order price, the order will be automatically submitted to HKEX for processing and will follow HKEX's Enhanced Limit Order rules.

10. What is the standard settlement cycle?

Trades executed on HKEX are settled on a T+2 basis.
