The Zhejiang Provincial Government held a press conference to promote the "Yiwu City Deepening International Trade Comprehensive Reform." Wang Jian, the Secretary of the Yiwu Municipal Committee, stated at the meeting that they will use the "Yi Payment" platform to optimize cross-border RMB and foreign exchange services, providing compliant, safe, and efficient cross-border payment solutions, and orderly exploring the pilot of digital RMB in the field of cross-border trade to safeguard trade going abroad. They aim for the cross-border payment transaction volume of "Yi Payment" to reach USD 5 billion by 2025 and exceed USD 10 billion by 2026
