The Nasdaq 100 Index rose by 1.4%, with component stock Atlassian Corp. leading the way with a 16.39% increase. Painkiller manufacturer Vertex Pharma (VRTX), which received approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), rose by 7.15%. Arm Holdings, Baker Hughes, Broadcom, and Tesla all saw increases of at least 4.6%. Palantir rose by 4.5%, and AppLovin also increased by 2.5%. Diamondback Energy temporarily performed the worst with a decline of 2.38%, followed by Grail with a drop of 2.43%, and Constellation Energy down by 2.58%.
