In a recent development, Blackstone (NYSE: BX) and Retail Opportunity Investments Corp. disclosed the successful completion of the acquisition deal. Blackstone Real Estate Partners X acquired all ROIC's outstanding common shares for $17.50 each in a cash deal totaling about $4 billion, encompassing existing debts. J.P. Morgan provided financial advisory services exclusively to ROIC. Legal counsel for ROIC was provided by Clifford Chance US LLP.
