Ministry of Water Resources: Make every effort to maintain the scale of investment in water conservancy construction

On February 17, Jinshi Data reported that on the afternoon of February 14, Chen Min, a member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Water Resources, presided over a meeting to discuss the scheduling of water conservancy infrastructure construction, promoting the commencement of major water conservancy projects, and implementing investment in water conservancy construction through multiple channels. The aim is to maintain the scale and intensity of water conservancy infrastructure construction and ensure the completion of the tasks outlined in the 14th Five-Year Plan. Wu Wenqing, the chief planner of the Ministry of Water Resources, participated in the meeting. The discussion emphasized that relevant units must earnestly implement the decisions and deployments of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, focus on the tasks outlined in the "National Water Network Construction Planning Outline," seize the strategic opportunities of "two heavy" construction, and concentrate efforts to advance a number of major national water network projects that are urgently needed for development, have mature preliminary preparations, and significant impacts.
