Vale SA's Executive Vice President of Commercial and Development, Rogerio Nogueira, stated during Thursday's earnings call that the Chinese steel industry will achieve rational development through integration and/or supply-side reforms. Vale SA's CEO, Gustavo Pimenta, mentioned in the call that iron ore sales are expected to increase in the first quarter due to the implementation of strategies in the fourth quarter. Vale SA's strategic focus is on having a flexible iron ore portfolio to maximize value
