The index surged in the morning and then retreated, with the three major stock indices slightly rising at midday. In terms of sectors, the non-ferrous metal sector rose collectively, with gold stocks leading the gains, and Leysen hitting the daily limit; the supercharging concept was strong in the morning, with Reiter Technology hitting the daily limit of 30cm and Increase hitting the daily limit of 20cm; medical stocks were active, with WuXi AppTec rising over 9% to lead the gains; the gaming sector fluctuated lower, with ST Zhongqingbao hitting the daily limit; the agricultural sector weakened collectively, with the breeding direction leading the decline, and Tianyu Biological showing significant losses; liquor stocks faced adjustments, with Rock Shares leading the decline. Overall, individual stocks showed mixed performance, with over 2,500 stocks rising. As of the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index reported 3,429.36 points, up 0.09%; the Shenzhen Component Index reported 10,990.52 points, up 0.30%; and the ChiNext Index reported 2,221.52 points, up 0.29%.
