On May 12th, consumers recently posted two videos complaining about finding what appeared to be a bloodied band-aid in the zongzi from Lai Yi Fen. According to the complaint videos, the product in question is Lai Yi Fen's honey date zongzi. The outer packaging of the product shows that it is entrusted to Zhejiang Wufangzhai Industry Co., Ltd. For questions regarding whether the same batch of products is exclusively supplied to Lai Yi Fen and whether the same batch of products has been removed from the shelves by Wufangzhai, Sina Finance inquired with Wufangzhai's official customer service, which responded: "We have noted the relevant information and are currently verifying it." In addition, Wufangzhai's general manager, Ma Jianzhong, also responded to the media, stating, "We are cooperating with Lai Yi Fen and government departments for the investigation and will continue to update information."
