PJRC's subsidiary plans to invest 962 million yuan to construct a new energy power generation project

According to the announcement from PJRC (600395.SH), in order to implement the national "dual carbon" target policy and the strategic decision-making deployment of the provincial party committee and provincial government to establish Guizhou Energy Group, and to seize the historical opportunity of Document No. 2 [2022] from the State Council, the company plans to invest in the construction of the Luoxi River Wind Farm project in Pan County through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Panjiang New Energy Power Generation (Panzhou) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "New Energy Panzhou Company"), with a construction scale of 120MW and a total investment of 721 million yuan; to invest in the construction of the first phase of the Dalongtan Agricultural Photovoltaic Power Station project in Xiangshui Town, Pan County, with a construction scale of 50MW and a total investment of 241 million yuan; the total installed capacity of the aforementioned projects is 170,000 kilowatts, with a total investment of 962 million yuan.

According to the project feasibility study report, the financial internal rate of return on equity for each project is higher than the benchmark internal rate of return, and the financial evaluation of the projects is feasible. Once all the above projects are completed, it is expected to save 89,860 tons of standard coal annually and reduce emissions of 246,270 tons of carbon dioxide, 248.03 tons of sulfur dioxide, 397.45 tons of nitrogen oxides, and 50.79 tons of smoke dust, demonstrating good economic and social benefits
