
July 15th Midday Review: The Shanghai Composite Index fell nearly 1% in half a day, with over 4,700 stocks in the entire market declining
The market showed significant differentiation in the morning, with the Shanghai Composite Index dropping over 1% during the session, falling below the 3,500-point mark. The micro-cap stock index fell over 2%, while the ChiNext Index performed relatively strong. Computing hardware stocks surged against the trend, with sectors like CPO leading the gains. Eoptolink and YUELING hit the daily limit up, while Zhongji Xuchuang and Shijia Photon rose over 10%. On the downside, gold stocks collectively declined, with Lai Shen Tong Ling hitting the daily limit down; the photovoltaic sector weakened, with Guosheng Technology also hitting the daily limit down. Individual stocks showed a widespread decline, with over 4,700 stocks in the entire market in the red, and a total turnover of 1.1 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.93%, the Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.26%, and the ChiNext Index rose 0.64%
