On July 26, with the successful launch of the first batch of green ammonia from the State Power Investment Corporation's Daan Wind-Solar Integrated Green Hydrogen Synthesis Ammonia Demonstration Project, JEP's aforementioned annual production demonstration project of 32,000 tons of green hydrogen and 180,000 tons of green ammonia officially commenced operations. The project utilizes the abundant wind and solar resources in western Jilin to generate green electricity, which is then used in electrolysis to produce green hydrogen. This green hydrogen is combined with nitrogen from the air and synthesized into green ammonia under the action of a catalyst, with wide applications in the chemical, transportation, and power sectors. The relevant person in charge of the Daan project introduced that the project innovatively applies a self-owned intellectual property "Electric-Hydrogen-Chemical" full-process flexible control system, solving the matching problem between the instability of wind and solar power generation and the stability of ammonia synthesis production, exploring a replicable industrial new model for the on-site conversion of new energy
