COLUMBUS, Ohio, July 28, 2025 - Northwest Bancshares, Inc. ("Northwest") and Penns Woods Bancorp, Inc. ("Penns Woods") have entered into an agreement for acquisition. Northwest trades under NASDAQ as NWBI while Penns Woods is listed as PWOD. Northwest Bank is the subsidiary of Northwest Bancshares, and Penns Woods operates Jersey Shore State Bank and Luzerne Bank.
