The People's Bank of China today (29th) conducted a seven-day reverse repurchase operation in the open market amounting to 449.2 billion yuan (the same below), with the operation interest rate remaining at 1.4%. Today, 214.8 billion yuan of reverse repos matured, resulting in a net injection of 234.4 billion yuan. The central parity rate of the yuan against the US dollar was reported at 7.1511, down 44 points.
The three major A-share indices showed mixed performance in the morning session, with the ChiNext Index rising nearly 1%. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 3,595 points at midday, down 2 points or 0.08%, with a turnover of 492 billion yuan; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 11,212 points, down 4 points or 0.04%, with a turnover of 637.8 billion yuan; the ChiNext Index closed at 2,384 points, up 21 points or 0.9%, with a turnover of 314 billion yuan.
Domestic bank stocks, China Construction Bank (601939.SH) and Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (601398.SH), fell by 0.6% and 0.5%, respectively. Domestic insurance stocks softened, with Ping An Insurance (601318.SH), China Life Insurance (601628.SH), and China Pacific Insurance (601601.SH) dropping between 0.9% and 1.6%. Additionally, CATL (300750.SZ) rose by 1.1%. BYD (002594.SZ) increased by 0.8%.
Pharmaceutical stocks continued to perform well, with Tigermed (300347.SZ) rising by over 10%. Heng Rui Medicine (600276.SH) rose by another 3.5%.
Baby and child concept stocks and assisted reproduction concept stocks rose, with Beingmate (002570.SZ) and Aiyingshi (603214.SH) increasing by 6.5% and 4.3%, respectively. The state announced the implementation plan for the childcare subsidy system, stating that starting from 2025, subsidies will be provided for children under three years old who are born in accordance with legal regulations, until they reach the age of three. The childcare subsidy will be distributed annually, with the current national basic standard set at 3,600 yuan per child per year
