DHGF announced that it will change its full name to "DHGF Health Industry Co., Ltd." to better reflect its strategic transformation towards the health and medical industry. Due to a significant decrease in revenue from traditional aquaculture business, the company has gradually divested its loss-making assets, and revenue from medical and aquatic product processing businesses has been increasing year by year, resulting in a change in business structure. In 2024, the revenue proportion of each business segment will mainly consist of medical and aquatic product processing, and the large water surface breeding business is no longer the main source of income
According to the Zhitong Finance APP, DHGF (600257.SH) announced that in order to better align with the company's development strategy of "integrating health product resources, steadily developing the health care industry, and gradually extending upstream and downstream in the medical industry," the board of directors plans to change the company's full name to "DHGF Health Industry Co., Ltd." to convey the current business development status and ongoing layout in the health industry to shareholders, investors, and other stakeholders in a true and accurate manner.
The change of the company's full name is mainly due to the reduction of the traditional aquaculture industry's large water surface breeding resources to two lakes and two reservoirs, and the gradual divestment of loss-making assets such as seed breeding and live soft-shelled turtles, resulting in a significant decrease in the operating income from aquaculture products. While the overall operating income base of the company has declined, the revenue scale of the medical and aquatic product processing businesses has been increasing year by year in response to market demand. The contribution of the company's main business revenue has undergone structural changes, with the revenue proportion of each business segment in 2024 ranked from high to low as follows: medical, aquatic product processing, large water surface breeding, and liquor. Among them, the sales proportion of the large water surface breeding business (including live fish and live hairy crabs, excluding live soft-shelled turtles) is 14.72%, while the sales proportion of live fish from large water surface breeding is only 7.14%. It can be seen that the large water surface breeding business is no longer the main source of income for the company's operations, and the term "aquaculture" in the company's name can no longer accurately reflect the current business structure
