The largest offshore oil and gas drilling platform in the Beibu Gulf of China has been completed and set sail
According to China Oilfield Services Limited, as the "CNOOC 228" barge slowly departs from the dock of the Qingdao International High-end Equipment Manufacturing Base, it marks the completion of all land engineering for the Weizhou 11-4 CEPD platform, entering the offshore installation phase. The platform has achieved multiple technological breakthroughs, setting new records for the size and weight of offshore oil and gas platforms in the Beibu Gulf region
