Businessman Report: The Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation may purchase the first batch of nuclear power units from China

According to Businessman Daily, China Dongfang Electric Corporation is likely to provide turbine units for the third and fourth units under construction at the Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant Phase II project. Previously, similar equipment for the nuclear power plant was usually supplied by Power Machines. If this order is executed by this Russian power engineering manufacturer, the total cost of the turbines and generators for these two units could reach 9 billion rubles (USD 114 million).
