CHINASOUTHCITY further delays the payment of the 2022/23 final dividend and continues to suspend trading
CHINASOUTHCITY (01668.HK) announced that the company is in discussions with creditors and financial institutions to improve its liquidity and cash flow situation, striving to pay the 2022/23 final dividend before December 31, 2025, although the form and payment method may change depending on the outcome of the solutions reached with creditors.
The company was ordered to be liquidated on August 11, 2025, and a liquidator has taken over. The liquidator is continuing to assess the company's affairs and is in ongoing discussions with major creditors and stakeholders to advance the negotiations for an overall debt restructuring. However, due to the company's liquidation status and the relevant rules and regulations governing the liquidation process, and since the outcome of the overall debt restructuring is still uncertain, the company cannot pay the 2022/23 final dividend on or before December 31, 2025.
The payment and/or handling of the 2022/23 final dividend will depend on the outcome of the overall debt restructuring (if any) and/or the liquidation process. Therefore, the company is currently unable to determine the updated expected payment date for the 2022/23 final dividend.
The company's shares have been suspended since August 11 of last year and will continue to be suspended until further notice
