The Ministry of Civil Affairs and seven other departments (the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Natural Resources, the Ministry of Commerce, the State Administration for Market Regulation, and the National Intellectual Property Administration) recently issued the "Several Measures on Cultivating the Main Bodies of Elderly Care Services and Promoting the Development of the Silver Economy." Through measures such as promoting brand building and establishing supply-demand matching platforms, the initiative aims to further stimulate the vitality of various elderly care service providers, create a favorable environment for investment and entrepreneurship, promote the development of the silver economy, and better meet the diverse and multi-level elderly care service needs of senior citizens
