January 23rd Midday Review: The Beijing Stock Exchange 50 Index rose over 3% in half a day, with collective surges in photovoltaic and commercial aerospace concepts

The market opened high and fluctuated in the morning, with the three major indices showing mixed results. The commercial aerospace concept continued to explode, with over ten stocks including Goldwind Technology and Aerospace Electronics hitting the daily limit. The photovoltaic sector collectively strengthened, with multiple stocks including Maiwei Co. and Dongfang Risheng also hitting the daily limit. The precious metals sector maintained its strength, with China National Gold and Silver Holdings hitting the daily limit. On the downside, computing power hardware stocks such as CPO fell sharply, with Xinyisheng, Zhongji Xuchuang, and Tianfu Communication all dropping over 10%. More stocks rose than fell, with about 3,200 stocks in the Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing markets in the green, and a total transaction volume of 1.91 trillion in the morning session. At the midday close, the Shanghai Composite Index rose by 0.27%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose by 0.24%, and the ChiNext Index fell by 0.17%
