The U.S. Federal Court stated that victims of the terrorist organization "Jaysh al-Mahdi" can continue to pursue aiding and abetting claims against major drug and medical device manufacturers under the Anti-Terrorism Act (ATA). The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals found that the plaintiffs reasonably alleged that the defendants' involvement was "knowing, voluntary, and culpable," and facilitated the actions of "Jaysh al-Mahdi."
