
National Climate Center: In 2025, both the rainfall and duration of the rainy season in North China will rank first in history
The China Meteorological Administration's routine press conference announced the 2025 "China Climate Bulletin," stating that the national average annual temperature in 2025 will be 10.9°C, tying with 2024 for the highest in history, and the number of high-temperature days will be the most on record; from late June to early September, a large-scale and prolonged high-temperature weather event occurred in the central and eastern regions of China, marking the fourth strongest since 1961. The national average precipitation is 4.5% higher than the normal year, with frequent summer rainstorm events, and severe flood disasters in the north during the "July down and August up" period; the rainfall and duration of the rainy season in North China are the highest on record, and the autumn rain in Southwest China is also the most on record
