SUNART RETAIL: CEO Li Weiping being taken away by the police is false news; has reported to the police

Regarding media reports that SUNART RETAIL (06808.HK) CEO Li Weiping was taken away by the police to assist in an investigation, the company clarified that this is false news and has reported it to the police; Li Weiping is currently at work.

Li Weiping was appointed as Executive Director and CEO on November 30 last year. Prior to this, he worked at Hema for nearly 7 years, holding various positions including General Manager of the North China Beijing Region and CEO of Hema Fresh, with 20 years of retail management experience.

Recently, there have been reports indicating that Li Weiping was taken away, possibly related to "issues during his time at Hema," and cited sources saying that Li Weiping has not been seen at the company since last Friday (30th)
