
Apollo, BlackRock, and OakTree Capital request the judge to dismiss Altice's lawsuit
Lenders of Altice USA Inc. (the U.S. branch of billionaire Patrick Drahi's global telecommunications empire), including Apollo Global Management, BlackRock, and OakTree Capital, have requested a federal judge to dismiss a lawsuit accusing them of colluding to keep the company out of the U.S. credit markets. In a motion filed Friday evening (February 6) in New York, creditors argued that Altice improperly attempted to block collaboration among creditors when the borrower sought to renegotiate. The creditors pointed out that in similar past cases, courts have ruled that U.S. antitrust laws do not apply to such situations
