Today (13th), China's largest single-unit capacity wind power project in the southwest region - China Datang Lianxing Wind Farm's 10-megawatt wind turbine has officially connected to the grid for power generation, marking a new breakthrough in the application of large-capacity wind turbines in mountainous scenarios in China. The project is located in Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, with a total of 71 wind turbines constructed, reaching a total installed capacity of 149 megawatts. Among them, the 10-megawatt turbine has a hub height of 121 meters, a rotor diameter of 222 meters, and a maximum swept area of nearly 6 standard football fields, making it the largest single-unit capacity wind turbine in the southwest region
