
The oil exports of the 8 countries in the Gulf region last week were cut by 61% compared to February, down to 9.71 million barrels per day
According to a report by CCTV News, the conflict between the U.S. and Israel against Iran is severely impacting global energy supplies.
The report cites the latest shipping data from Belgian market service provider Kpler, which shows that as of the 15th of this month (Sunday), the average weekly oil exports from the eight Gulf oil-producing countries—Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates—were 9.71 million barrels per day. In comparison, the average daily exports from these countries in February were 25.13 million barrels, representing a drop of approximately 61%.
The data also indicates that prior to the outbreak of the war, the maritime oil exports from these eight Gulf countries accounted for 36% of the global total
