In the field of "intelligent connectivity," Guangdong Province has targeted eight sub-directions: artificial intelligence, artificial intelligence chips, artificial intelligence and data network security, intelligent humanoid robots, sixth-generation mobile communication (6G), optical chips, quantum technology, and VR/AR/XR. In terms of quantum technology, research on multiple technical routes for quantum computing, such as superconducting and ion traps, will be carried out, promoting the research and development of quantum computing chips, prototypes, and control systems. The application of quantum computing will be promoted in key scenarios such as new material research and financial product optimization. The application verification of quantum measurement in fields such as aerospace, biological testing, and geological exploration will be promoted. A forward-looking layout in the field of quantum materials will be conducted, focusing on innovative materials such as new topological, superconducting, and magnetic materials, as well as their preparation processes and equipment.
