Report: Insta360's panoramic camera and thumb camera hold the top two global market shares, with strong growth

On March 21, IDC released the 2025 Global Handheld Smart Camera Report, indicating rapid market growth, with panoramic camera sales surpassing USD 1.212 billion, a year-on-year increase of 88%. Insta360 maintained its position as the world's number one panoramic camera brand with a 66% market share, while thumb camera sales topped the global market with a 57% share, and broad sports camera sales ranked second globally. Data shows that sales of Insta360's wide-angle, panoramic, and thumb cameras increased by 321%, 61%, and 89% year-on-year, respectively, with overall broad sports camera sales growth reaching 97.5%
